  • Application Tips

    Apply initial application of GreenView® Solutions Natural Base Lawn Fertilizer at the recommended application rate below. For maximum effectiveness, prepare your lawn by aerating or de-thatching before applying GreenView® Solutions Natural Base Lawn Fertilizer. For the quickest results, water soon after application and regularly thereafter.

    Signs of turf stress will begin to lessen in one to two weeks. Within four to six weeks turf grass will show significant visual improvement. A second application may be required to achieve best performance.

    Follow the GreenView® Solutions Natural Base Lawn Fertilizer Lawn Restoration Program for effective results. Repeated applications will help reduce stress from periods of drought, heat and severe cold.

    Application Recommendation:

    For Stressed Turf:

    Make an initial application at the rate of 6.0 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft to yield 0.9 lbs. Nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. 3-4 Annual Application Plan:

    Apply 3 to 4 times per year at the rate of 5.0 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft to yield 0.75 lbs. Nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. 4-6 Annual Application Plan:

    Apply 4 to 6 times per year at the rate of 3.3 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft to yield 0.5 lbs. Nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review . honestly this was easy to dispersed into my yard we suffer a lot with our yard having patches that don't have grass . we dispersed this into those areas and so far we have been seeing little speckles . the price was definitely worth it. it covered my whole yard and front area also if you're new into using fertilizer the company does a very great job of guiding you with the instructions on the back of bag . will definitely be purchasing again

The instructions were very detailed and easy to follow. I like that it is natural base and it’s safe for children and pets to be on the lawn after applying it. The fact that they use natural and organic ingredients is definitely a plus for me. My lawn needed a lot of help and with this I am confident that I am going to have lush green grass. One 25 pound bag will cover a 5000 square-foot radius, which should allow me for 4 applications this year on my lawn. I mowed my lawn and then used my lawn dethatcher and racked up all of the loose grass. I used my drop spreader to apply the product to my lawn. Then I watered it thoroughly because it wasn’t going to rain for a couple of days. It’s been five days and I can tell a difference already with my grass. I am very happy with this product and can’t wait to continue to use it and see what my grass looks like in a couple months.

I was given the opportunity to test the Greenview Organic Lawn Fertilizer which covered 5,000 square feet of yard. The directions were easy to follow as far as how much to apply and what setting on the spreader. It had several options depending on what kind of yard spreader you have. Immediately a smell could be noticed in opening the bag and dumping it into the spreader, which was to be expected with an organic fertilizer. It wasn't too strong but definitely noticeable. I didn't notice it anymore after watering it in with sprinklers. Hoping for good results after seeing it a few days and a week from now.

It is a heaping bag, and I have paid more than I normally would, but it will cover my lawn in its entirety. The directions on the bag are very easy to understand and follow. Springtime has come out of nowhere in New England and with 4 dogs I had plenty of bald spot in my lawn to fill. This fertilizer is great because when you order it and submit your zip code they check to make sure it is compatible with your area-not something you get in a big box store. And with one bag covering 4000 sq ft I know I had enough coverage for my spots in my lawn.
