GreenView® Solutions Crabgrass Control is specifically designed to be a pre-emergent and post-emergent crabgrass killer for lawns. As a pre-emergent, it prevents crabgrass from germinating and as a post-emergent, it kills crabgrass seedlings up to 4 weeks old. It also controls over 40 other common lawn weeds prior to their germination, including purslane and spurge.

Application Tips
When to Apply

GreenView Solutions Crabgrass Control should be applied in the spring or fall prior to weed seed germination for control of weeds in established yards. For the ultimate in season-long weed control, apply in the fall with a sequential or second application the following spring. If the product is applied in the fall, do not reseed, overseed, or sprig turfgrasses within 12 weeks after application.

Application Tips

To optimize product performance, apply this product within a few days after mowing and delay mowing again for a few days after the application. Apply evenly and uniformly over the turfgrass area, avoiding streaking, skips, or overlaps. Weed control will be most effective when GreenView Solutions Crabgrass Control is activated by rainfall or irrigation. Performance is improved if application is followed by ½ inch of rainfall or irrigation. Erratic weed control may result if not activated by rainfall or irrigation within 30 days after application.

Use of GreenView Solutions Crabgrass Control on lawns and ornamental turfgrasses that are not well-established or have been weakened by stress may increase the chances of turfgrass injury. Stresses include injury due to mechanical operations, pests, excessive temperatures, or lack of moisture. Do not apply this product to lawns or turfgrasses that are under stress.

I love how that it can be applied later for crabgrass control. I have had ongoing crabgrass issues and this product has helped. It provides lots of weed control but unfortunately not for dandelions. The size of the bag was very easy to manage.

I didnt have to worry about it being a little late in the season to spread it, (im in Georgia so our season is a bit earlier) as this works even after sprouting. so far so good, and no more crab grass.

Application was straightforward. I liked that it can be applied later in the season compared to some other products. After using it, I did notice a reduction in crabgrass and some other common weeds. The downside is that results weren’t completely immediate, and a few spots needed a second pass. But overall, it’s a solid option if you’re looking for something effective and easy to use for basic lawn care.

It did not clog up my spreader and spread well. They stuck well to the leaves of the weeds when they were damp. This is a nice size package to cover 5,000 sq ft.
