    Best time to apply

    For northern cool-season turfgrass: 1-2 weeks prior to the onset of favorable conditions for annual weed grass seed germination. Usually in the early spring season.

    Reapply 4-6 weeks later to prevent the germination of goosegrass.

My newly sodded lawn had a large presence of crabgrass. The product was applied in accordance with the directions on the label. It spreads evenly. There has been some reduction in the presence of crabgrass in my lawn. There has also been some deeper green-ing of the lawn as well. I'm impressed with the product.

It helped reduce crabgrass while making the grass look greener and thicker. The product was easy to apply and covered a good amount of space as expected. This is my first time trying this product, but I'm hopeful that it can help with my yearly crabgrass problem. Instructions were overall easy to follow and I appreciate that they show different application amounts for the north versus the south states. I followed the directions and set my spreader to the recommended amount and I was delighted to see that I got almost exactly the coverage amount that the bag said it was good for.

I tried this product after having dandelions pop up on my lawn. not a lot..just a few. I use a local lawn care service hence the few dandelions. After a nice rainshower, I spread this weed control granules on the front of my lawn. Now a week later, I have NO more stray dandelions on my lawn. My lawn looks more green and just cleaner which is surprising this early in the spring. I would definitely use this in place of Scott's and it's much cheaper. I did see results in only a week so I am impressed! It seems like a good product at this price point for sure!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Crabgrass Control I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.. The product was easy to open and disbursed evenly with the spreader I used. It is too soon to tell if the crab grass will be eliminated completely, but I am hopeful. I do not think that the whole bag covered 5000 sq. ft, probably closer to 4000 sq. ft. I will buy from Greenview again due to its pricing and easily used on my yard.

This review is only based on ease of product application to the lawn as I just applied the product today. Application was easy enough using an auto seed sprayer and settings were clearly marked on the packaging. Make sure you time your application correctly around rain or be prepared to water after the application. Hoping to get a chance to update this review after a month to see if it actually works as I've not had any luck with the expensive brands in the past. I rated a 4 star for now as application was simple, hoping to give a 5 start review after seeing results. Very pleased with affordability.

I was happy to get to try this lawn fertilizer and crabgrass controller and i was not disappointed. it was easy to spread evenly and seems to have really made a difference in how lush our lawn looks. You can see am obvious difference in the color and lack of weeds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fertilizer and Crabgrass preventer I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. This product is easy to apply, just dump it in a spreader and go. It is slow release fertilizer so it is supposed to feed your lawn up to 6weeks, amd is supposed to kill and prevent crabgrass for up to 4 months. I'm hopeful from reading up on this company as it seems like really good fertilizer.
