    Best time to apply

    For northern cool-season turfgrass: 1-2 weeks prior to the onset of favorable conditions for annual weed grass seed germination. Usually in the early spring season.

    Reapply 4-6 weeks later to prevent the germination of goosegrass.

This worked really well on my lawn this spring, The grass started looking greener within a couple of weeks. and I noticed much less crabgrass compared to last year. Crabgrass is one of the weeds that is very difficult to manage. The packaging contains all the instructions and dosage how to use. Aside from crabgrass, it also helps to control broadleaf weeds. The granules inside are good size and it doesn't look like it will clump together when exposed to moisture. This product comes with moneyback guarantee, and it is made in the USA. Unfortunately, you have to buy it online and pay for shipping cost. I don't think I have seen this brand at local store.

The directions were detailed and included information specific to the spreader I was using. The product is multicolored to easily see with no clumping, so it very quick and easy to apply!

I usually buy the most expensive product but figured I would try a less expensive brand this year. I used a hand spreader and the bag was the perfect size for my front yard. The weather has been super inconsistent this year and I was worried it might affect the effectiveness of this product. It has been almost two weeks since I applied and so far so good! No sign of crabgrass and my lawn is starting to green up nicely. I am hoping that it will last the whole summer and if it does I eill put another application on this fall. If it holds up well I am going to stick with this brand and save some money!

My newly sodded lawn had a large presence of crabgrass. The product was applied in accordance with the directions on the label. It spreads evenly. There has been some reduction in the presence of crabgrass in my lawn. There has also been some deeper green-ing of the lawn as well. I'm impressed with the product.

This is my first time trying this product, but I'm hopeful that it can help with my yearly crabgrass problem. Instructions were overall easy to follow and I appreciate that they show different application amounts for the north versus the south states. I followed the directions and set my spreader to the recommended amount and I was delighted to see that I got almost exactly the coverage amount that the bag said it was good for.
