If unsure about the size of your lawn, general guidelines are that a typical 1/4 acre lot with home, driveway, walkway and landscaping requires a 4,000 sq. ft bag. A 1/2 acre lot with a home and landscaping features typically requires a 10,000 sq. ft bag. For larger properties from 1 to 2 acres or more, you will need to estimate the amount of additional grass area and include these in your coverage calculation. Your actual lawn size may vary based on the sizes of your home, driveway, and landscaped areas.
