Woodace A.C.R.E Acidifying Fertilizer is designed for top-dress application to ornamentals growing in planting beds and other non-turf areas.
For individual plants apply Woodace A.C.R.E.
evenly within the dripline or known root area. The feeder roots of large shrubs and trees may extend well beyond the dripline. Adjust the area accordingly.
For densely planted areas or ground covers
broadcast Woodace A.C.R.E. evenly over the entire area at a rate of 0.8 - 2.5 lbs. per 100 sq. ft., 1 - 3 lbs. N/1000 sq. ft. (0.4 kg - 1.1kg per 9.3 m², 0.45 - 1.36 kg.N/92.9m²). Adjust the height and trajectory of the spreader where possible to minimize reflecting granules off of dense foliage.
Do not broadcast fertilizer onto wet
foliage. Fertilizer should be applied when plants are actively growing. Do not attempt to incorporate fertilizers into the root area of established plants.
Never fertilize when plants
are suffering from stress related to transplant, moisture, heat, insect, disease or abiotic injury. Generally spring and fall provide the optimum time to apply supplemental nutrition.
