Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't do well in my yard My yard is mostly shaded but gets a bit of sun in the afternoon so I was hoping that this grass seed would do well. I prepped my yard in the area I wanted to try the seed. Followed the directions as stated on the bag of seed. However, a month later, I am not seeing anything popped up. Maybe it takes a bit longer? I'm hoping that it will soon work but so far no luck. I'm not sure if it is because my yard is super shaded most of the day and it's just not getting enough light. It may work better for others.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The grass is always greener! It's been about ten days since I sowed the GreenView Fairway Formula Sun and Shade grass seed mix. I used it to fill in many bare spots in my lawn and it looks great. Nice thick and healthy looking grass coming in everywhere.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to use, but not much growth The GreenView Fairway Formula Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mixture was easy to use - open the bag and plant the seeds. Unfortunately, a few weeks after planting, only a small amount of the seeds grew into grass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product I tried this amazing grass seed a few weeks ago to get my yard ready for coming seasons. I put it down in all bare spots and dead spots in the yard. I have noticed in some spots that baby grass is coming up. The weather in Maryland is unpredictable. That being said I am sure the rest of the grass will grow also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sized bag of grass seed I have placed this grass seed on a stubborn dirt area I have in my yard. I am awaiting results to see how the grass will grow in that area, I like how it allows for shaded in sunny areas as where I placed it is mostly shaded. The bag holds a lot of grass seed it would cover a big area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from From barren to lush in days! I used this amazing sun and shade mix to start plugs for my yard in preparation for spring lawn care. After a long winter of shoveling, snow blowing and sledding across the yard i inevitably end up with edges and spots that need repair. I like to create plugs of different sizes and shapes to fit into whatever spots need filling. This seed mix took just 5 days to produce a full plug of baby grass. I believe in another week (weather permitting) they will be ready to transfer to my lawn. This has been the easiest and fastest seed to germinate that I’ve used since I began starting plugs indoors. I highly recommend this seed. It grows fast enough that I believe a good portion would germinate before the spring birds had a chance to steal it all.
