My back yard is only three seasons old I did it from dirt to lawn with this product .germination is a bit slow make sure to give it enough time to grow before cold hits

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Green Grass Again Wow, This summer has been hard on Grass we tried keeping up with watering late in the evening so we didn’t burn it out through the day fertilizer nothing seems to help. It took about three weeks using this and our grass actually started coming back to life again with that bright green beautiful one look. We will now be adding this to our lawn treatment. The cost is very comparable to other brands and this actually works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Formula is great for my lawn My existing lawn had some completely bare spots, and I tried a 3lb bag of GreenView Fairway Formula Kentucky Bluegrass Blend. I followed the instructions to the letter and I am happy to say that my bare lawn spots started to sprout and healthy grass filled those spots. So happy to have discovered it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My lawn is already looking better! Last summer our basement wall collapsed, which was a multi-month ordeal that ended up destroying most of our back and side yards. They seeded the yard in the fall, but it ended up being horribly patchy and rough. This grass seed is already helping fix things, though, and it’s only recently started sprouting. I can’t wait to see how things look later in the summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Seed per Pound than Others with Fillers Greenview Fairway Formula's, Kentucky Bluegrass blend has more seed per pound compared to others with coated seeds or fillers. This seed isn't coated and doesn't have fillers so it will cover more area per pound. This grass seed is 99.9% weed free. It's also drought and disease resistant. It's easy to plant. Just loosen the topsoil, sprinkle the seed and lightly rake in. Then all you have to do is keep it moist by watering at least once a day. It's great for existing lawns to fill in sparce areas. It works well to fill in bare spots. It's perfect for new lawns because it's weed free and drought and disease resistant. I would recommend this Kentucky Bluegrass blend to brighten and enhance the look of your lawn with bright green, weed free grass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pure Grass Seed for More Coverage Greenview Fairway Formula's, Kentucky Bluegrass blend is their most popular blend of grass seed. It's 99.9% weed free. No coating or fillers like many other brands so you get more seed per pound. More pure seed equals more lawn coverage. I tried other lawn patch varieties that just didn't work as well because the filler blows away or disintegrates and the grass grows sparsely. This pure grass seed gives you even, equal coverage. It covers more area of lawn because you have more seed per pound. I grew this in a pot because of the wintery weather conditions we had. It grew in less than 2 weeks time, once planted indoors. I plan to transfer the patch after it reaches a few inches. This grew quickly once it had above freezing temperatures. It has a nice bright green color to brighten and enhance the look of your lawn. It's great for filling in sparce looking lawns or filling in bare patches. This would be ideal for new lawns because it covers well and is weed free. It's also drought and disease resistant. I would recommend this grass seed if you value a nice looking lawn.

We planted in an area that has traditionally been a little sparse and is now filled in with young Kentucky Bluegrass blend grasses. Very easy to use and I’d guess the majority of the seeds sprouted. Win win!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Grass seed Its too cold to put the seed in the yard but I put some in a pot and it grew great.I can't wait until it gets warm in a few weeks so I can treat the bald spots in my yard. I definitely am happy with the sample results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice grass We used this grass seed in the spring. We were trying to fill in some thin spots. The grass was nice quality grass that grew, though it didn't completely fill in the spots. I'm not sure that I watered the grass enough - just make sure to keep up with the watering. That should help.
