How much do I need?

If unsure about the size of your lawn, general guidelines are that a typical 1/4 acre lot with home, driveway, walkway and landscaping requires a 5,000 sq. ft bag. A 1/2 acre lot with a home and landscaping features typically requires a 10,000 sq. ft bag.   • Application Tips

    Coverage

    • 7 lb bag covers 2,500 sq. ft.
    • 13 lb bag covers 5,000 sq. ft.
    • 39 lb bag covers 15,000 sq. ft.

    Best time to apply

    Apply when broadleaf weeds are actively growing in spring or early fall.

    • Mow lawn to normal height, 1-2 days before application
    • For best results lawn must be MOIST and the air calm when product is applied. When the lawn is moist, the product granules stick better to the leafy parts of the weeds, ensuring that the weed-killing ingredients are absorbed by the weed plant.
    • Apply after a heavy dew or rain, or on a thoroughly watered lawn.
    • DO NOT apply to a moist lawn IF rain is expected within 24 hours of application.
    • DO NOT water in immediately after application as the granules need to stick to the weed plant leaf for 1-2 days to be most effective.
    • Avoid applying when temperatures are consistently above 90F.
    • After a 1-2 day period after application, if it has not rained – the lawn should be thoroughly watered.

I received a package of GreenView Broadleaf Weed Control plus Lawn Food and have felt that this product has fulfilled its promise to control the weeds and fed my lawn to help keep it healthy and green. It was easy to apply and spread. Needless to say, this past summer my lawn was better maintained. I am happy to purchase it for this coming season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for getting rid of weeds! Ugh my lawn was disgusting. Such an eyesore and I legit feel that everyone that walked by had some comment to make or stage their head. Weeds all over and the dandelions were everywhere. I started using this weed control plus lawn feed and within two weeks noticed a difference. The weeds started to die off and as that happened the grass got greener. Between applying the weed control and grass feed and watering I now have a real lawn!!

When we bought our house it was green full and lucious then some things happened and part of the lawn was removed for drainage causing lots of issues. From ants moving closer to weeds spreading it has been a nightmare. We started using this product and it has changed the condition of our lawn tenfold. I will continue to use this in conjunction to what we have also been doing because it works.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worked Used this Spring to liven up my lawn, and it did just that. A few less dandelions and my grass appeared to grow in a brighter green. Has rain for 2 days after laying down; whick seemed beneficial as welll.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work My yard is almost completely covered in burrweed - one of the weeds listed on the package. I followed the directions exactly but 10 days later, no sign of it doing anything. The burrweed thrives along with other weeds in the yard. Really disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't do much... I wouldn't blame this product for the lack of progress it made on the lawn since dandelion are the hardest to get rid of. Since I bought my house no matter how frequent I mow the lawn they always return. I was having high hopes but all this product did was wilt them a little that day and then sprung back the next day. It was suppose to be a weed killer plus grass feeder but somehow it kill some places and made dead brown patches in my lawn. Maybe I'll have to try light sprinkle the next time around and see it goes that time around.

He even went and bought 2 more bags to finish the rest of the yard. A few weeds popped up in the back by the fence but he's certain he missed that spot. This will be our go-to from now on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lawn looks better We applied the GreenView Broadleaf Weed & Feed about 3 weeks ago. We applied it with a push spreader on wet grass as directed. It is not supposed to be watered after that, but we did end up getting rain the evening after we put it down. It has gotten rid of most of the weeds. We have a major weed problem in our yard, and it has improved. I don't notice a difference in the grass so far. Maybe it's too early to notice. We're planning on using a second application to see if that will kill off the rest of the weeds.
