Tips to control grubs in the lawn

If your grass had large brown spots at the end of last summer, sections of the lawn lifted like a piece of carpet from the ground, or you noticed skunks diggin in the lawn, chances are your lawn has grubs. If you had any of these signs of grub damage last year, treat the lawn this year.

Landscape Tip

Trees, shrubs and perennials that are growing in nursery pots at the garden center can be transplanted to the landscape at any time. Just remember that newly planted stock needs about an inch of water every week. Adequate moisture is required until the plants are established, which usually takes two or three years.
